My conclusion from this video would be that behind certain emotions there is dopamine. So, for instance, every time someone flatters you, you get a rush of dopamine, and when you try to act shy or whatever that act is a lie. You just can`t help but like it because the dopamine is released normally and autonomically. So that is why being prideful, boasting, or flattered is addictive. Interesting.
