TOXIC NARCISSISTIC BEHAVIOUR AND HIGHLY SENSITIVE INDIVIDUALS

My conclusion so far regarding narcissistic behavior/style is that regardless of what we want to call this behavior, these people verbally and especially non-verbally project whatever they want on us because we think we are dealing with normal people. Who is normal anyway? When I use this term I mean "mentally stable". Is this phrase correct? I do not know, but I prefer it.

ANYWAY, THEIR TYPE OF BEHAVIOR IS NOT NORMAL. Do not cut slack to suspicious behavior, words, or phrases - notice them. That might save your life. As soon as you notice something like love-bombing; or hot and cold behavior; cat and mouse game; emotional blackmail; if you sense whatever that is confusing and if you catch yourself rationalizing their behavior - hit the breaks hard.

If something they say or do brings out negative emotions in us, it is them, and their negativity not ours. This especially applies to highly sensitive individuals who easily absorb other people`s faults and internalize them. TRY not to absorb. Observe. Hard one to pull out but not entirely impossible. I believe that narcissists' and other people with other types of toxic behavior can be highly sensitive as we may be.

Triangulation - negative comparison with other people, so we feel "less than"/not enough

"When the narcissist triangulates, victims find themselves feeling jealous of people, places, and things that, under normal circumstances, wouldn't warrant a second glance. " So it is THEIR projection. Since they do not respect themselves they try to make you jealous. It is actually THEIR JEALOUSY.
